Hello and welcome to my class website. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by today!
My name is Kari Carr.

I have a B.A. in Middle/High Integrated Science Education and Middle school Mathematics. I am starting my 20th year teaching here at Crossler. I have taught math, science, marine biology, and leadership.
I have been married for 20 years and am a mother to three wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, hiking, riding quads, going to the drag races, cooking, crafting, and enjoying the outdoors.
Science has always been of interest to me as my curiosity to understand the world in which we live has continued my drive to learn new things. I love that our current understanding of scientific principles is constantly changing as we discover new and exciting things through technological advances.
I am very excited to be teaching the Career Exploration: Paxton Patterson Lab here at Crossler. Students will apply science, technology, engineering, and art principles to many different careers in class. Students are able to choose from 18 different career fields to learn knowledge and skills used by those in the profession.
I also have the honor to lead and empower our Leadership students in many school and community events. Together we create school spirit days, lunchtime activities/competitions, dances, assemblies, talent show, interview and highlight students and staff throughout the year, recognize students for their involvement in athletics, music, clubs, and more. We also participate in community fundraisers to support groups such as Honor Flight and Family Building Blocks and give back to local people.
If you need to contact me, you may do so in one of two ways.
